19th Century Mallorcan Chairs

In the 19th century, it would have been common to see the gardener or butler seated in these chairs in front of an enormous fireplace in a Mallorcan mansion, tending the fire.

At 33” x 19” x 16”, they were the perfect size for the job.

Today, their exceptional quality and sturdiness make them excellent children’s chairs. Of course, you’re welcome to use them as they were originally intended if your fireplace requires a gardener to place the wood!
